The Statehouse offers underground parking with direct sheltered access to the Ohio Statehouse. You can enter the parking garage from Broad, State or Third Streets.

Simply pull a ticket and park in any non-reserved spot. We suggest parking on the GREEN LEVEL. You will be able to pick up a voucher ticket during the reception to allow you to get out of the lot without payment.

From the Green level of the parking garage to the Ohio Statehouse, enter the Statehouse through a set of sliding glass doors near aisle 8, in the middle of the green level. You will see a sign above the door that reads “Ohio

Statehouse.”

Note: there are more than one set of sliding glass doors on both sides of the parking garage.

Once you enter the sliding glass doors, go to the top of the stairs, where you will be greeted by an Ohio Highway Patrol Officer (you will go through security at this time). Outside alcohol such as flasks is prohibited.

Once through security, please follow the directional signage posted behind the Ohio Highway Patrol Officer.

You may leave your car in the garage overnight, but it must be moved by 9am to avoid any charges.

Once you have entered through the 3rd Street doors go left past the Ohio Highway Patrol desk (you will go through security at this time). Outside alcohol such as flasks are prohibited. There will be two sets of white marble staircases in front of you, please follow directional signage either on or in-between the white marble staircases.
